Jim Gibbs

Lt. Col. James H. Gibbs (USAF Ret.) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 17, 2022. James was born August 27, 1945, in Sewickley, PA, and graduated from Milton Hershey School in 1963. After attending Rochester Institute of Technology for a year, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. James served with the Air Force for thirty years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees while serving. James is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda (Legg) Gibbs, and their two sons Jeffrey and Benjamin. Lt. Col. Gibbs will be interred at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
