MHS Holiday Break Food Drive

MHS staff members are collecting items to prepare food boxes to send home with students for their Easter Break.

Alumni are invited to support this effort by dropping food donations off at the Dearden House or by assisting monetarily with a check or gift card for food stores like Walmart, Giant, and Weis to be used by staff to purchase items for the food boxes. 

All donations are due by Wednesday, March 6.

Below is a list of items we are currently low on for Easter Break:

  • Boxed Meal Mixes (Hamburger/Chicken Helper Meals)*
  • Instant Flavored Rice Mixes*
  • Canned Meats (Ham, Tuna, Chicken, Turkey, Spam)
  • Instant Mashed Potatoes*
  • Mac & Cheese*
  • Canned Vegetables*
  • Canned Fruit*
  • Canned beans (Baked Beans, Refried Beans etc.)*
  • Pasta
  • Pasta Sauces*
  • Jelly/Jam*
  • Peanut Butter*
  • Breakfast Cereals*
  • Instant Pancake Mix*
  • Instant Hot Breakfast Cereals*
  • Oatmeal/Cream of Wheat Packets*
  • Applesauce*
   

 

If you prefer to mail a check or gift card, please mail them no later than Monday, Nov. 6 to Food Bank Alumni Relations at Milton Hershey School, P.O. Box 830, Hershey, PA 17033-0830. Please make the check payable to MHS Food Bank.
