Late Fees Due to College
Your college might charge you a late fee if your account isn’t fully paid by a certain date. You can usually avoid this by completing all of your GPS requirements on time so CES payments are not delayed. Check your MyCES portal regularly to make sure your To-Do List is complete.
CES doesn’t cover late fees, so you must pay your college for the fee or ask your Student Accounts Office if it can be waived if you think your circumstances may qualify you for an exception. Resolving late fees promptly is important for avoiding additional fees.
Follow this guidance if an unpaid balance remains (excluding late fees) even after CES payment for the term is in your student account, since this can also cause ongoing late fees.
