Kenneth Keener

Kenneth K. Keener, 75, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at ManorCare Health Services, Lebanon. Born Sunday, December 5, 1943 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Amos Keener and Ruth (Kohr) Myers. He was married to Mary L. (Shank) Keener on December 18, 1982.

Ken worked as a shipping/receiving clerk at the former NCR in Mount Joy.

In addition to his wife of over 36 years, he is survived by two sons: Kenneth K. Keener, of Palmyra and Keith K. Keener, husband of Lori, of Elizabethtown. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Mariah and Haley Keener and Kyle Shenk. He was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Tiffany L. Keener.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Dove Christian Fellowship, 842 North Hanover Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Pastor Tom Barnett and Pastor Marlin Swope officiating. Burial will follow in Goods Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown. There will be a viewing held at the church on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken’s honor to Dove Christian Fellowship.
