Gerald G. Seidel

Gerald G. Seidel ’54, 85, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon. He was the father of Kelly Hughes and Gerald G. Seidel, II.

Gerald George Seidel, 85, of Lemoyne, passed away on November 28, 2021 in the VA Medical Center of Lebanon.

He was born March 29, 1936 in Philadelphia, son of the late Edward and Evelyn Seidel.

Gerald was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Seidel is survived by; daughter, Kelly (Jim Savard) Hughes of Etters; son, Gerald G. Seidel, II of Lemoyne; grandchildren, Ashley Hurst (Oliver, great-grandson) of Etters, Taylor (TJ) (Abby Schaub) Hurst of Warminster, Courtney (Jimmy) Jones of Etters and former spouse, Betty Seidel of Harrisburg.

Interment with military honors will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, on Tuesday, December 14th at 10AM. Those wanting to attend should arrive at the cemetery by 9:45AM, follow signs for “Funerals” and park at the rear of the cemetery administrative building.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
