William L. Minich
William L. “Catfish” Minich, 63, of Enola, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Holy Spirit Hospital. Bill was born May 5, 1946, to the late Charles and Myrtle Minich. He attended East Pennsboro and Milton Hershey Schools. He was retired from the American Can Company and The Patriot-News Company, was a member of the West Fairview American Legion and Overview Anglers Club. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Carol L. Minich; a daughter, Julie (Rodney) May of Mechanicsburg; his precious granddaughters, Makenna May and Campbell May; his twin sister, Anna Lahr of Halifax; his mother and father-in-law, Julia and Eldon Townsend of Summerdale and his best friend, Gary Farner.
Memorial services will be held Monday, November 2 at 11 a.m., in the Sullivan Funeral Home Enola, with a visitation from 10 a.m., until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Pennsboro Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 47, Enola, PA 17025.
