William A. Wilkinson Sr., 75, Lookout Avenue, Dysart, Pa. died Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Blandburg, son of the late Benjamin Wilkinson and Sara (Letcher) Wilkinson Bloom.

He married Donna Troxell on Sept. 17, 1960, in Glasgow. Surviving are his wife of 53 years; three sons: William A. Jr. (Sherri Beiswenger) of Altoona, Jason H. (Lynn Conzo) of Tyrone and Steven E. (Suzanne Parker) of New Oxford; six grandchildren: Caitlin, Colton, Meagan Williamson (Joel), Devon (Clarissa Krug), Kellina and Alexander; a great-granddaughter, Isabella Wilkinson; three brothers: John (Elaine Lewis) of Randleman, N.C., Raymond (Judy Goralski) of Altoona and Benjamin (Janet Brown) of Blandburg; two stepbrothers: Glenn Bloom (Joyce Liddard) of Elba, N.Y., and Russell Bloom (Donna Shepherd) of Blessing, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.

William had worked for Stroehmann Bakery, Altoona; Owens Corning Fiberglass, Barrington, N.J.; Baltimore Life Insurance Co., Altoona; Marhoefer Bakery, Altoona; Wetterau Foods Services Inc., Schuylkill Haven; and James F. Havice Inc., Lewistown. He owned and operated Multi Merchandising Action Professionals, New Oxford. William belonged to the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association and National Association for Retail Merchandising Services and was a member of the Fourth Street Church of God. He enjoyed working with stained glass windows, panels and pavers, golfing and taking his 1959 Chevy Impala to car shows.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, Pastor Jon Neely officiating. Committal will be in Roseland Cemetery, Glasgow.
