William Anthony, Trimbur, 62, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2008. He was born Oct. 13, 1945, in Butler, Pa., a son of the late William Arthur and Elizabeth Acquavita Trimbur. He formerly worked in the maintenance department of Crucible Steel. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Trimbur and Thomas Trimbur.

He is survived by his companion, Edith Hanlon at home; two stepsons, Gary Butch Hanlon of East Liverpool and Jerry Hanlon of East Liverpool; four stepdaughters, Becky Minor of Chester, Loretta Sheffield of Wellsville, Laura Jones of Michigan and Sheila Price of East Liverpool; 19 stepgrandchildren; 29 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Joanne E. Waida of Beaver Falls; two brothers, Dale L. Trimbur of Aliquippa and Charles M. Trimbur of New Brighton.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, in the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home; where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.
