Wayne E. Bressler, 69, of Bern Township, passed away Friday July 15th in Manor Care Health Services, Laureldale. He was married to Patricia J. (Scott) Bressler. Born in Latrobe, PA he was the son of the late Herman E. and Anna (Mull) Bressler.

He was a tool and dye maker for the former Western Electric and later for Baldwin Hardware, retiring in 2007. He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing. He served in the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania and the Army reserve. He was a former president of the Bern Twp. Athletic Assoc. serving as a baseball coach.

Surviving with his wife is one son, Matthew W. Bressler and wife Jennifer of West Reading and one daughter, Laura E. wife of Henry Munoz of Annandale, NJ. There are three brothers, John W. Bressler of St. Claire, PA, Herman Snyder of Annville, PA, and Thomas Snyder of Wilmington, NC. There is one granddaughter, Suzanna L. Bressler.

Memorial services will be Wednesday July 20th at 11 AM in Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610. A visitation with the family will be held Wednesday from 9 to 11 AM in the church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
