Warren E. McElheny
Hi All, It is with the deepest sadness and sorrow that I announce the passing of my father-in-law Commander Warren Edward McElheny on Friday February 24th in Morgan Hill California, one week before he would have turned 86. Commander McElheny, often called Mac, served in the US Navy for 28 years from 1944 to 1972 including WWII and Korean War Service. He was aboard the USS Boxer, a 27,100-ton Essex class aircraft carrier and flew 20 bombing missions over North Korea in 1952 flying the Sky Raider. He is survived by 5 children,11 grandchildren, loving friends and extended family members. A funeral service honoring Commander McElheny will be held early this Summer at Arlington National
Cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia. Shelley
