Family and loved ones are celebrating the life of Walter Berberian.

Walter died peacefully on October 19, 2017 after a short illness. He was born on August 26, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Elizabethtown, PA. He attended the Milton Hershey School where he focused on electrical studies. This led him to a career in electrical engineering and ultimately administrative management in the Syracuse Diocese of the Episcopal Church.

He was predeceased by his wife Janet Boyd Berberian. Surviving are his four daughters: Melanie (Ken Richardson) of Sarasota, FL; Suzanne (Gary Biviano, deceased) of Venice, FL; Virginia (Bruce Goodall) of Kennett Square, PA; and Patricia (Vince Tripoli) of Chittenango, NY; a sister Queenie, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his friend Jean Demerit.
