Walter A. Gibson
Walter A. Gibson, 85, of Buena, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2011. Legacy Walter was born in Philadelphia and as a young boy entered the Milton Hershey School. After graduation, Walter enlisted in the Navy and served as a Gunners Mate aboard the USS Moffett during World War II. Following his service time; he returned home and met and married the love of his life, Geraldine Richardson, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Walter worked as an Offset Pressman for Beck Offset Color Co., in Pennsauken for more than 20 years until his retirement in 1985. In his spare time, Walter enjoyed coaching his sons Little League teams, working on his cars and cheering his grandchildren, Stephen and Bernadette at their sporting events as well as his beloved Phillies and Flyers. Walter will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family Beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Richardson); dear father of Michael, Stephen (Kathleen) and Walter Lawrence Gibson; devoted brother of Donald (Rosemarie) Gibson and grandfather of Stephen and Bernadette Gibson.
