Stephen R. Talbot
Stephen R. Talbot, 72, of Water Street, McVeytown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning, Oct. 27, 2014.
Born May 17, 1942, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Glenn L. and Myra E. (Wolfgang) Talbot. His wife, Debra R. (Lingle) Talbot, whom he married June 6, 1986, survives. Also surviving are: four children, Tammy L. Zurbriggen and husband, Dave, of Queen Creek, Arizona, Kelli L. Anderson, of Boise, Idaho, Christopher D. Talbot and wife, Keri, of East Falmouth, Massachusetts, and Allison L. King and husband, Will, of Pittsboro, North Carolina; a sister, Doris Shimp and husband Stephen, of Lewistown, and six grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Sonny, Tyler, Madelyn and Sara.
He was a 1963 graduate of Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh. He was employed as a printer, having last worked at Commercial Printing and Nittany Valley Offset, both in State College. After retiring, he enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lewistown.
