Ronald H. Esterly, 68, of Easton, passed away, Saturday, March 14, 2009 in The New Eastwood.

Born: On October 13, 1940, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Aaron C. and Florence Nonnemacher Esterly.

Personal: He was a self-employed painting contractor.

Memberships: Ron was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Easton.

Survivors: a brother, Fred Woodley and his wife Patricia, of Coopersburg, PA; a sister, Nancy Wanamaker and her husband Robert, of Allentown, PA; two nieces, Lori Cruz and her husband Julio and Lisa Wuchter and her husband Daniel; a cousin, the Rev. Charles Orem and his wife, Sylvia, of Forks Township; 3 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews. A brother, Richard Esterly, died earlier.

Services: A memorial service was held Saturday, April 4, in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 330 Ferry Street, Easton. Arrangements by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton.
