Richard L. Klein
Richard L. Klein, Sr., 69, of Llewellyn, died Friday, December 30 at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street. Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Frederick and Helen Wagner Klein.
He was a 1959 graduate of the Milton S. Hershey School for Boys, and also graduated from Ford Business School with a degree in accounting. He was employed by the former Richmond Screw and Anchor Co., Tremont. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Llewellyn.
He was preceded in death a son, Richard L., Jr., on Dec. 4. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Wiscount, to whom he was married 49 years; a son, Fred and his wife, Jody, Pottsville; a brother, John, Laureldale; a niece; a nephew.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday from Friedens Lutheran Church. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary Star-of-the-Sea Cemetery, Branch Township.
