Ray A. Dietrich
DIETRICH RAY ALVIN, of Audubon, on Feb. 1, 2013, age 86.
Preceded in death by his wife, Helen Sheaffer Dietrich and grandson, Ryan Mulligan. Survived by daughter, Gretchen Mulligan; son, Eric (Paul Arcure, life partner); grandson, Brennan Mulligan; brothers, Ivan and Lloyd and sisters, Ruth Santucci and Agnes Breidegam.
Ray was a member of The American Chemical Society, The American Electroplaters Society, The Masons, Schlaraffia Filadelphia, German Society of Pennsylvania, The Franklinville-Schwarzwald Maennerchor and The Upper Merion Senior Center.
He was a graduate of Milton Hershey School; BA in Chemistry, Dickinson College. Ray retired from ICI Americas after a 35 year career as a chemical engineer. His hobbies were German language and culture, travel and selfless devotion to friends and family. He served in the US Army.
