Kenneth G. “Ken” Brickner, 49, of 110 Fruitville Pike #12, Manheim, died Wednesday, Dec. 24th, at the Hospice of Lancaster Co., Mt. Joy, following a brief struggle with cancer.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Nancy Eberly Brickner.

He was a graduate of Milton Hershey School in 1977, where he learned the carpenter trade. Ken worked in construction after graduation, and then went on to work at New Standard, Mt. Joy, and most recently at Hamilton Precision Metals, East Petersburg.

He enjoyed woodworking, camping, and coin collecting.

He is survived by a companion, Debra S. Weibley, Manheim; his siblings, Diane Miller, Leola, Linda (Ted) Bingaman, New Berlinville, Roy (Barb) Bollinger, Willow Street, Karen (Richard) Trout, Boyertown; daughters, Quinnanne Henny, Mt. Joy, Kendy (Kyle) Schiffert, Trexeltown,, Jacqueline Smith, Felton, Krystal Jones, Red Lion, and Christina Weibley, Manheim.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ken’s Life Celebration Service from Spacht Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz on Monday, Dec. 29th at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Machpelah Cemetery, Lititz on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Friends may call at Spacht Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Please omit flowers.
