Burlington County Times John P. Byrnes of Mount Laurel died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center in Mount Holly. He was 76. Mr. Byrnes was born in Lansdale, Pa. and lived in Clementon, N.J. before moving to Mount Laurel in 1991. Mr. Byrnes worked 35 years as a salesman for Alfred B. Patton Maps of Doylestown, Pa. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a 1952 graduate of the Milton Hershey School. John is survived by his wife of 26 years, Maria N. Byrnes; three daughters; two step-daughters, and one sister and brother. The memorial service will be held 7 p.m. on Thursday Aug. 12, 2010, at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel.
