James Howard Stevens, age 76, of Linton, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Lyons Nursing Home.

He was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on May 21, 1940, the son of James Donald Stevens & Charlotte Winifred (Miller) Stevens.

James was a graduate of Hershey’s Boys School in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He was a retired Machinist with Western Electric and Allied Signal. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Stevens of Linton, a son, James Stevens of Linton, IN, daughters, Danean M. Coffey of Arizona, and Connie Stevens of Arizona, a sister, Karen Lyon (Jack) of Ohio, four granddaughters, Renee’ Vela (Tony), Cherish Cocivera (Brian), Kelsie Marigliano, and Olivia Coffey and 3 great grandchildren and a niece, Mary Litz of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above.
