Jack A. Lucas, Sr., 77, of Carlisle, and formerly of Steelton, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 in his home. He was a retired employee of the Steelton Plant of Bethlehem Steel Corp.

Jack was the son of the late Milligan and Norma Funk Lucas and the widower of Connie R. Stickle Lucas and is survived by two sons, Randolph French, Sr. and his wife, Kim D. of Mechanicsburg and Jack A. Lucas, Jr. of Carlisle; two daughters, Cindy L. McCord and her husband, Duane of Elizabethtown and Cristal R. Shipe and her husband, Todd of Carlisle; seven grandchildren, Jason, Lucian, Randy, Lee, Joey, Tiffany, Dakota and Kaitlyn; six great grandchildren, Emma, Randy III, Lucy, Shyla, Liam and Bailey; several nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by one brother, James Lucas.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Tim Wheeler, Celtic Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
