GEORGE L. BROWN is a 1942 alumnus of H.I.S. I want to inform you of his death, January 3rd, 2010. Dad was proud of his HIS roots. Orphaned at 5 years of age, Dad came to HIS with his two older brothers. Like others in his era, post-graduation Dad entered the Army for WW2. Post-War he lived in Harrisburg, working as an accountant. He and his wife of 65 years, Hazel (Atticks) Brown, who preceeded him in death by 14 months, later retired back inthe Hershey vicinity. Dad will be buried with military honors at the National Cemetery in Indiantown Gap.
