Frederick S. Weaver
Fred S. Weaver of Zuni, Virginia, who always tried to live by the Boy Scout Law, died suddenly on Monday, November 17th.
He was a “great dad,” “loved brother” and “true partner.”
An avid ham radio operator, Fred was also the ultimate vehicular man and could fix anything, a skill he often lamented as it was hard for him to get rid of broken items that could be repaired.
Fred enjoyed his “geezer” job as it got him out among people and kept his brain working.
Saturday adventures were a treasure to be protected and hanging around the homestead, a cherished time.
A storytelling and respect paying was held at the family home on Saturday, November 22nd.
The Family is grateful for family and friends who have helped them during this time.
Donations can be made in his memory and honor to the Western Tidewater Radio Association c/o Dick Harrell P.O. Box 323, Smithfield, VA 23431 or the Zuni Historical Society P.O. Box 107, Zuni, VA 23898.
