Frederick A. Fisher
Frederick A. Fisher, 81, formerly of Walnut Manor, 1519 Walnut St., Allentown, Pa. died August 23, 2007, in St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown Campus.
He was the husband of the late Marguerite M. (Bealer) Fisher. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frederik and Ruth (Lemon) Fisher.
He was a distribution manager at the Morning Call Newspaper in Allentown until retiring in 1984. Prior to that, he delivered milk for the former Freemans Dairy, Allentown. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a graduate and a member of the school choir at Milton Hershey School, Hershey. He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd U.C.C., Alburtis. He was a former treasurer of the tenant council at Walnut Manor. He was a former track photographer at Dorney Park and Nazareth Raceway, and he coached junior bowling at Emmaus Bowling Center.
Survivors: Daughter, Donna L., wife of Barry R. Paules of Allentown; son, William R. Fisher and his wife Beverly of Palmerton; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, August 25, J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. today, August 24, at the funeral home.
