Francis J. McKniff
Lt. Col. Frank J. McKniff, USAF Retired, 89, formerly of Palmyra, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015, at the Hospice Austin’s Christopher House, Texas.
Born September 27, 1926, in Media, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Sara (Graul) McKniff, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane McDermott.
He was retired from the U.S. Air Force with 21 years of service. He loved hiking, biking and birding.
Surviving are his son, Michael J. McKniff, husband of Karen Affeld of Red Rock, Texas; and brother, William McKniff, husband of Marlene of Lancaster, Va.
Private interment with military honors was at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
