Eric D. Koch Sr., 63, Milton, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at his home. Born July 3, 1953, in Muncy, he was the son of the late Dison and Hazel (Dewald) Koch.

On November 13, 1976, he married the former Shirley I. Straub and they celebrated 40 years of marriage until her death December 24, 2016. Eric was a 1971 graduate of Milton Hershey High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He had worked for the U.S. Post Office in Lewistown, worked in the Driver’s License Center for Penn DOT in Lebanon, and was a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are two sons, Eric Koch Jr. and his wife Alicia, Salt Lake City, Utah and Jason B. Koch, Milton; three grandchildren, Maddison, Schinel, and Austin; and siblings, Camilla Koch, Ithaca, N.Y., Rusty (Rhonda) Koch, Millville, Corey Koch, Montandon, Todd Noll (Tina) Koch, Milton, Terry (Hye) Koch, Arizona, Raymond (Elizabeth) Koch, Watsontown. Besides his parents and wife Eric was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Koch.

Friends are invited to call from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown, where the funeral service will be held at noon with Bishop Curtis Nickels of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Northumberland officiating. Burial will follow in Webster’s Cemetery, Huntersville.
