David Irvin “Ike” Hartman age 59 of Snellville, GA passed away on August 2nd, 2016.

David was the youngest of 9 children to Mary Hartman of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania.

Surviving him is his wife of 29 years, LoAnn, son, Michael, daughter-in-law, Leah, as well as his sisters, Barb, Jean, Eleanor, and Pat, and brother, John, with many wonderful nieces and nephews.

David was preceded by his sisters Kathy and Joyce, as well as his brother, Ed, and his father, Herman Hartman.

“Ike”, as known by many, was a genuine man and a loving father, always creating laughter for those surrounding him.

He loved his version of “L.A” (Lower Alabama) where he and his family spent many years at their beach condo in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

A celebration of life will be held for Mr. David Hartman on August 21st at Grace Fellowship Church in Snellville.

A private service will be held at 1:00pm, and a visitation for family and friends will proceed, from 2:00pm-4:00pm.

In honor and memory of his love for the beach and relaxation, the family asks to please attend in a Hawaiian attire.

In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s honor may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Atlanta, LLC.
