Deryl J. Samois, 82, of Mechanicsburg, PA, died on Friday, July 23, 2010 in the Health South Regional Specialty Hospital, Mechanicsburg.

Deryl was born in Pottsville, PA on October 9, 1927 to the late James and Verna Clark Samois. He was retired from the Conrail Railroad as a Movement Director. A graduate of the Milton Hershey School and Bloomsburg University and a former member of St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mechanicsburg and the Mechanicsburg Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette F. Keller Samois; a son, James F. Samois of Mechanicsburg; and a daughter, Jeanne M. Samois of Castaic, California; two granddaugh-ters, Jorden M. and Shelby A. of California; four sisters, Gloria Carroll and Shirley Samois, both of Mechanicsburg, Joanne Sheerin of Lexington, KY and Diane Martin of New Cumberland.

Private interment services will be held in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
