Clifford R. Morrison
Clifford Morrison, 78, of Landisville, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 15, 2009. Cliff grew up in Hershey, Pa. at the Milton Hershey School. He was the son of the late C.W. Morrison and A. Elizabeth (Leaman) Haus. He was married to the late E. Jane Morrison for 57 years.
He was dedicated to his career at Superior Sign Company as a salesman and designer for 50 years. He was past president of the Landisville Lions Club, a member of the Red Rose Chorus and he sang bass in the Lanco Lads Quartet. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church where he taught Sunday School for many years and sang in the choir. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and was well known for his interest in Genealogy. He was the most loving husband, dad and pop-pop that anyone could ever ask for. He will be lovingly missed by his daughter, Jennifer, and sons, Jim, Jeff and John; grandchildren, Erica, Jim Jr., Jessica, Summer, Luke, Ean, Noah, Sandra and others as well. He had several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Tom, Jerry and Sue. He was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Morrison.
Graveside services will be held at Longeneckers Reformed Mennonite Church Wed., Aug. 19, at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Cliff to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
