Clark “Corky” Filan, 60, formerly of Harpursville, passed away October 18, 2010 at home in Kingston, NY.

Clark is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; daughter Deanna Risoli and son-in-law, Joel Gordinier; grandson and best friend, Mikhail Strait; sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Kimberlie; Thom and Kristi; sons, Jerry and Danny; grandchildren, Kansas, Adison, Lily, Katie, Zach, Haley, Jack, Hunter, Phoenix, Olivia, Chloe, Alex, Julia, Cassie and Kalyn.

Clark will be remembered best for his hard work ethic and his desire to help any friend in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A special thank you to John and Rose Lewis who made Pop’s last few months more bearable – no words can express the deepest gratitude. Someday he will thank you himself.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 184 Castle Creek Rd., Binghamton, NY 13901. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the time of the service at 1 pm. Published in Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin on October 21, 2010
