Clark L. Croman, Jr. Clark L. Croman, Jr., 61, of Steelton, died Saturday, September 1, 2007 in his home, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Clark was a paper carrier for the Patriot-News for 18 years, a former columnist for the Middletown Press and Journal and had worked for Enterprise Rent A Car. He was a past president, coach and umpire for the Steelton Midget Baseball Association, a 1963 graduate of Milton Hershey School and was a member of their Alumni Association, its Glee club, Band and Orchestra and was an avid Eagles and Penn State football fan.

Clark was the son of the late Clark L., Sr. and Evelyn Youst Croman, and was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn W. Croman. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce L. Brown Croman; one daughter, Lynn R. Croman of Harrisburg; four sons, Glenn D. Croman and his companion, Crystal Young of Steelton, Justin C. Croman of Steelton, Mark L. and wife Jacquelyn Croman of Harrisburg, and Andrew L. Croman of Steelton; one sister, Shirley E. Morgan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and two grandsons, Todd M. and Corey C. Croman of Harrisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007 in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton, with Chaplain Chuck Ryan officiating. Burial in Churchville Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1200 Walnut Bottom Road, Suite 302, Carlisle, PA 17015.
