Carl E. Wagner, 85, of Mount Joy, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Juniper Village Retirement Center.

He was born April 30, 1929 in Hershey, a son of the late Homer and Violet (Bashore) Wagner.

Carl was a 1947 graduate of Milton Hershey School; a retired employee of the New Cumberland Army Depot and had served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He enjoyed fixing things and tinkering.

Surviving are his wife, Augistina Wagner; 3 sons, Robert Wagner of Hershey, Dr. David (Debbie) Wagner of St. Louis, MO, and Daniel J. (Renee) Wagner of Elizabethtown; 2 daughters, Juanita (Timothy) McGraw of Boynton Beach, FL and Mary (Timothy) Plasterer of Chambersburg, 13 grandchildren & 3great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by grandsons, Brian Wagner and Jeremy McGraw, and a sister, Mary Koegel. Services will be private with interment in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 3417 C Concord Road, York, PA 17402.
