Carl D. Tritle, age 63, of Chambersburg, passed away April 19, 2012 at home.

He was born September 19, 1948 in Chambersburg, PA to Oliver and Alma (Gift) Tritle.

He was married to Ok Nam Pak Tritle on Feb. 9, 1972.

Carl was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in Korea.

He was retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, where he had been an electrician for forty years.

Carl was a member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church.

Carl is survived by his wife, Ok Nam Pak Tritle and their daughter, Jennifer (wife of Daryl) Horst of St. Thomas, and his three granddaughters, Courtney, Abby, and Emily Horst.

He is also survived by his mother, Alma Gift Clevenger of Ft. Loudon.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Tritle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 23, 2012 at the St. Thomas Lutheran Church, with Rev. Warren Heintzelman officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be held at Stenger Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 7061 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, Pa. 17252.

Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA will be handling the arrangements.
