Brian James “BJ” Sell, 57, of Boyertown, husband of Theresa “Tess” (Sherman) Sell, passed away on Saturday, April 30 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Paul M. and Geneva (Wentzel) Sell-Raysor, and step son of the late Clifford “Dip” Raysor. BJ was a 1977 graduate of Milton Hershey School. He went on to graduate in 1981 from Shippensburg with his BS in Business Administration. BJ worked at Southern Graphics in Philadelphia. His hobbies included singing and hunting with his brothers. He was a member of Tall Hemlocks Hunting Camp and Calvary UCC in Barto. Surviving with his wife are sisters Pauline and Mary; brothers Garry, Bernard, David, Roger and Joseph as well as sister in law Flo and brother in law Rob Rauh. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by sisters Doris, Audrey, Charmaine, and Madeline and brother Arlan. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 7 11:00AM at Calvary UCC, 1231 PA-100, Barto, with visitation on Saturday from 9:00AM to 10:30AM at the church. Burial will be private.
