ANDERSON, Arthur George 71, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the James A. Haley VA Hospital.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, to his parents, Robert Anderson & Virginia Lindsay Anderson.

Arthur was the second of four children.

He served in the Army for 2 years and was a longtime resident of Sayville, NY.

Arthur worked a majority of his career as a self-employed carpenter.

He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa-Beth Gannon (Ty); son, Joshua Anderson (Vivian); three grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor and Amanda; and brother, Robert Anderson.

In addition to parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Berger; sister, Christine; and brother, John.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
