Albert S. Cupp
Albert D. Cupp, 77, of Freeland, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
Born in Freeland, he was the son of the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Hurback) Cupp. Prior to retiring, he was a draftsman at the High Mountain Hardware Co., Cranberry. A graduate of the Milton Hershey School, he remained actively involved in their educational policies. Albert was also a patron of the Special Olympics and the Habitat for Humanity.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a sister, Audrey DeLese.
Surviving are two sons, a daughter; sisters, Alice Pavlick, Freeland, Dolores Sheaman, Freeland; four grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Luzerne County Special Olympics, P.O. Box 1832, Shavertown, PA 18708. McHugh-Wilczek Funeral Home, 249 Centre St., Freeland, is in charge of arrangements.
