Warren “Lee” L. Albright

Warren “Lee” L. Albright ’45, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was the husband of the late Helen. 

ALBRIGHT, Warren Leroy known as Lee to his friends and family, passed away on August 3, 2019 in St. Petersbug, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen. Lee was born March 6, 1927 in Glen Rock, PA. He and his brother were raised and schooled at the Milton Hershey Boys School. He enlisted in the Army at the age of 18 and served until the war ended. He continued his affiliation with the military as head of the Flight Time and Records Division for Aviation at Gary Army Air Force Base in San Marcos, TX. He moved to Florida in the 60’s, where he joined the St. Petersburg Fire Dept. He was recognized as Fire Fighter of the year in 1973 and retired in 1981. Services will be held at the Royal Palm North Funeral Chapel, 2600 Gandy Blvd, on Friday, Aug. 9, at 1 pm. Royal Palm North Funeral Chapel.
