Thomas J. Crilley

Thomas J. Crilley ’67, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was the husband of Mary Ann Crilley.

Thomas J. Crilley passed away peacefully on May 14, 2023, at the age of 74.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Anna (nee Kisler) and Thomas Crilley.

Tom went to Milton Hershey HS where he played football, basketball, baseball, and sang in the glee club.  He spent his career in the newspaper industry for over 42 years at the Philadelphia Bulletin, Inquirer and Daily News.

Mary Ann was the love of his life for over 48 years.  He treasured every moment with her building an amazing family and life together.  He loved spending their summers together down the shore.

Tom loved spending time with his family and friends, golfing, singing, and taking his dog Tinkerbell for a drive in his golf cart.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  He especially loved watching the games with his children and grandsons.  He cherished time with his granddaughter.  He was a very proud Pop Pop.

Tom is the beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Nolen), loving father of daughters Christine (Mark) Chrupcala, Theresa and son Brian (Danielle), doting grandfather of Nicolas, Alexander, Anthony, Daniel, Sean, Mason and Brynn, dear brother of Patricia (Joseph) Delong and the late Michael Moody.  He is also survived by many cousins, niece, nephews and dear friends.  His memory will live on in our hearts forever and his laughter will continue to bring joy to all who were blessed to have known him.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 6PM to 8PM, and Monday, May 22, 2023 from 9AM-10:30AM in the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055.  A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary of the Lakes Church 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ 08055 at 11AM.  Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Lakes Church at the above address.
