Thomas E. Keck

Thomas E. Keck of Harrisburg, born on Thanksgiving Day. November 25, 1948, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 with Lewy Body dementia and Parkinson’s disease.

He is survived by wife of 52 years, C. Romaine (Byers), son Gregory T Keck of Harrisburg and daughter Rachel E Stonecipher (Phillip) of Colorado, granddaughter Quinn Stonecipher and grandson Bryce Stonecipher, brother Tim Keck of Oklahoma and stepsister Wanda (Griffey) Leiby of Enola. Predeceased by brother Charles Keck, stepbrothers James Griffey and William Griffey.

Tom was a 1966 graduate of Milton Hershey School and member of the Homestead alumni chapter. Tom attended HAAC while working at Brookhart and Tyo engineering firm. He loved working at WITF Public Television for almost 30 years.

He enjoyed traveling, racing sports cars, bowling, pitching for Harrisburg First Assembly of God church softball as well as participating in their mission trips. Tom performed in three musicals at HCT and enjoyed attending Harrisburg Symphony concerts, local music events, and LCBC church. All that have met Tom have been blessed to have been entertained by his quick wit, felt the energy of his fun-loving spirit, and experienced his never-ending kindness toward others. Tom will be missed dearly by many near and far.

The family would like to thank the Middletown Home, Fox Therapy, and Homeland Hospice for their professional care over the past two years.
