Terry Henry

Terry Henry passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his home at the age of 76. He was a resident of Levittown for the past 50 years.

Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary (Beson), Terry was the loving father of Mike Henry (Bonnie Velazquez) and Cheryl Hansen (Mark), devoted grandfather of Michael Henry (Marissa) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Lynwood and Allen.

Born in Reading, PA, the son of the late Lillian (Ludwig) and Delroy Henry, Terry grew up attending Milton Hershey Schools from the age of eight. His love of sports began there as he played football, baseball and basketball (yes, at 5′ 5″, he played basketball!).

After graduating from Bloomsburg University, he relocated to Bucks County and began a 30-year career as a 7th and 8th grade science teacher at Cecelia Snyder Middle School in the Bensalem Township School District.

Terry was always involved in sports, whether it be playing, coaching or officiating. He was a PIAA official for 50 years. Terry loved talking to anyone who would lend an ear, and if it happened to be the summertime, chances are he would send you off with a bag full of vegetables grown from his back yard garden.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, interment will be private. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
