Steven Adams

STEVEN LYDELL Adams was born Aug 9 1969 to Josephine and Robert Adams. They lived in an apartment in the Bronx on Tremont Ave where Steven his siblings and friends would play  in the neighborhood until the street lights came on. He attended PS28 in elementary And was involved in the cub scouts and cadets. Shortly after he attended Milton Hershey school, Intermediate division, into Sr division . There he played soccer ran track and flourished in wrestling and was an undefeated state champion.  He graduated High School in 1987 and from there enlisted into the United States Army.

In the Army he was a parachute rigger where he jumped out of airplanes.  In Jan of 1989 While stationed in Fort Campbell Kentucky Steven met his future wife Robin Michele Walker.  They married in Nov 1989 and celebrated the birth of a beautiful Baby girl April, in May 1991. After the military Stephen moved to Philadelphia where he became and has remained a self made man. Stephen pass from complications due to a heart transplant on Friday July 23 2021.

Stephen is survived by his daughter April Adams, two uncles Melvin Adams Frank Mason, three brothers Robert David Adams Robert Damon Adams & Lamont Adams, four sisters Tonie Adams Colette Adams Robyn Adams Gittens Nikia Adams his 8 nephews Eric Freeman, Daryl Adams, Jamal Adams, Jorell Adams, Daquan Adams, Jeremiah Alice,a Jordan Beswick, Mekiah, 7 Nieces  Ashley, Kenyetta, Diamond, Victoria, Tori Jenee’, and Danielle & Erica and a list of beloved cousins including Joseph Mason and many friends and associated loved ones.
