Scott E. Ruch

Scott E. Ruch, Sr., 75, of East Rockhill Twp., passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, with his family by his side. He and his loving wife Deborah (Troxel) Ruch would have celebrated their 51st  wedding anniversary in September.

Born in Lehighton, PA, he was a son of the late Leanna S. (Williams) and Kenneth Ruch, Sr.  He went to Milton Hershey School from 1952-1964 where he was on the Senior Senate and a top player in basketball, baseball, and football.   He took the trade Plumbing and Heating in the vocational technical school there.  He was employed as a truck driver for Rockhill Materials and for Landis Block.  Following his retirement, he was a school bus driver for the Pennridge School District.  In his free time, he loved to read and study the Bible, he loved just being outside, playing sports with his kids and grandchildren, and going to car shows. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children:  Billie Jo Ruch , Scott Ruch, Jr., and his wife Lori, Tabitha Moore and her husband Jeff, John Ruch, Denise Rosenberger and her husband Mike, eleven grandchildren:  Ashley, Gage,  Amber, Chase, Zevin, Bryce, Kade, Sienna, Caleb, Adalena, and Meika, and three great grandchildren:  Aubree, Emma, and Blayde.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude, and three brothers:  Kenneth, Jr., Dave, and Marty.
