Roger Stewart

Roger (Tony) Lee Stewart went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2021; peacefully, after a long battle with cancer with his wife, Donna, by his side.  He was born in Point Marion, PA on May 11, 1943 to Edward Morgan Stewart and Irene Virginia Keener.

Roger grew up at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA.  Roger enjoyed spending time with children, grandchildren, family and friends.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors.  Sitting around was not his ‘cup of tea’ as he felt it was wasted time.  After graduating from Milton Hershey School he joined the Navy.  He served his country as an AE3 (E-4) in the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1966. He married Donna Stickler. He started his own business: Starlight Outdoor Education.  He was a member of the Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church in Pinetop, AZ.

I lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Milton Hershey School of PA, the Wounded Warrior Project or Shepherd of the Mountain Lutheran Church of Pinetop-Lakeside.

Roger is survived by his wife of 20 years:  Donna Stewart; daughter:  Lisa Stewart-Miller; son :  Anthony Stewart; step-son:  Braden Zulick and wife Melissa Zulick; step-son:  Corey Coughlin and wife Kandi Coughlin; step-son:  Kyle Coughlin; grandchildren:  Alissa, Bella, Tony, Noah, Dakota, Lincoln, Kyle, Austin and Cayden and great grandson:  Hunter.  He was preceded in death by his parents:  Edward Morgan Stewart and Irene Virginia Keener and son:  Jason Stewart.
