Robert Newcomb

Robert Walter Newcomb ’45, 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at home.  He was the husband of the late Patricia Gean Perry Newcomb and father to Gary W. Newcomb.

He was born on October 1, 1927 in Scranton, PA.  He resided in High Bridge, NJ since 1975, moving from Madison, NJ and Lincoln Park, NJ.

He was the son of the late Edward Langdon and Lona Bell Morris Newcomb.

His wife, Patricia Gean Perry Newcomb passed away in 2006.

Robert was a World War II Veteran, serving with the US Navy on the USS Philippine Sea.

Robert was a self-employed baker.  He owned and operated The Whitehouse Cake Box on Rt. 22 in Whitehouse, NJ for many years.

Survivors include one son; Gary W. Newcomb of High Bridge, NJ.  One sister; Carol Car of Flemington, NJ.

All services will be private.
