Robert Evans

Robert Willis Evans, 86, MHS class of 1950, of West Hanover Township, passed away on November 18, 2018. He was born May 23, 1932 in Carlisle, son of the late Harry and Mary (Eppleman) Evans.

Robert was a 1950 graduate of the Milton Hershey School, graduate of Shippensburg University and received his Master’s Degree from Temple University and serve d in the U.S. Army. He was the Executive Director of the Medical Bureau of Harrisburg from 1983 until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Janice (Stroh) Evans; son, Robert W. and wife, Aileen Evans of East Petersburg; grandson, Michael and his wife, Rachel Evans; granddaughter, Meagan Evans; great grandchildren, Carly and McLellan and sister, Kathryn Miller of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Watson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 24th at 11:00am at Grace United Methodist Church, 433 East Main Street, Hummelstown. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Inurnment will be private in Hershey Cemetery.
