Ray B. Thurston

Ray B. Thurston ’50, 91, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022. He was the husband of the late Phyllis Thurston.

Ray B. Thurston, 91, of Englewood, FL and formally of Mentor, OH, passed away after a long illness on September 16, 2022. He is survived by his daughter Dorri (William) McDonald and son Chris Thurston. Ray is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis Thurston. Ray was a retired principal from the Mentor, OH school system. He was an avid golfer, a proud member of the United States Navy and a famous master woodcarver.
