Ralph J. Richardson Jr.

Ralph J. Richardson Jr., 79, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the morning of Friday, December 15, 2017, at his home.

He was born on March 6, 1938, in Perry County, a son of the late Ralph J. and Mary Richardson, Sr.

Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Carlisle Syntec. Ralph loved his dog, Susie Snowflake, his bird, J.D.

He is survived by five children, Ralph J. (Susanne) Richardson, III of Shippensburg, Marie (Matthew) Laughman of Newburg, Brian (Tara) Richardson of Cleversburg, David (Cheryl) Richardson of Dillsburg, and Johnny (Diane) Richardson of Shippensburg; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Clever of Landisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Janet, who died on December 23, 2014, and one brother.
