Leonard Erdman

Leonard Erdman, 76, of Millersburg went home to be with his Lord on June 18, 2022. He was surrounded by his wife and sons who loved him dearly. He was born on September 16, 1945 in Danville, PA the son of the late Guy Lewis Erdman and Josephine E. (Adams) Erdman. He married to Doris (Warfel) Erdman on June 26, 1966. They would have celebrated 56 years of marriage this month. He was a member of Hebron U.M. Church in Millersburg, where he served as Ad Board President for many years. He also served on various other committees.

When his sons were young he coached Little League baseball, teener baseball, and served on the football boosters. He was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader.

He graduated proudly in 1963 from Milton Hershey High School and talked about that experience often. He worked many years an an estimator for T.L. Rowe Enterprises. Upon retirement he became an apartment manager for Mr. Rowe, and was still presently managing those apartments. He loved guiding his sons in all forms of carpentry, helping them to maintain their own homes. he also loved going on cruises and bus trips. His garden was his pride and joy, and he was able to get it planted before becoming ill.

In addition to his wife, Leonard is survived by his sister Rachel Fulkrod (Clair), sons Brian (Michelle) of Etters, Sean (Melissa) of Halifax, Brett (Amanda) of Halifax, grandchildren Koldyn, Taylah, Brianna, Tate, Mason, and Maniya, and great grandchildren Aria and Ava. He was preceded in death by brothers Lewis and David Erdman.
