Leo Hartnett

Leo M. Hartnett, a resident of Bensalem for over 48 years and former resident of the Lehigh Valley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 12, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was 87.

Leo was born in Bethlehem, PA and an alumnus of the Milton Hershey School. He went on to work for the State of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and retired as a supervisor with over 20 years of service. Leo enjoyed spending free time with family and friends, watching the Eagles on Sunday and listening to country music.

Leo was the beloved husband of Louise J. (Kerak) Hartnett and the loving father of Leslie Kemmerling (John) and Karen Smeyne (Steven). He was the devoted grandfather of Ryan, Grant, Dylan and Will. Leo was the brother of James Hartnett (Nancy) and the late John Hartnett.
