Joseph S. Meizen

Joseph S. Meizen​, 82, of Hershey, passed away on April 18, 2020 in Country Meadows of Hershey.

He was born November 26, 1937 in Woodbury, NJ, son of the late Samuel and Ethel Meizen.

Joseph graduated from the Milton Hershey School. He had worked for the PA Insurance Department. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and member of Brownstone Lodge #666 F&AM Hershey; Harrisburg Consistory and the Zembo Shrine. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church Hershey.

Joseph is survived by: son, David J. (Jennifer) Meizen; daughter, Sharon (David) Miles; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Mike) Cascio, Michael (Arielle) Meizen and Jonathan Miles; great-grandchildren, Scarlett & Grant Cascio; and companion, Janice Steily.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce and brother, Jack.

He will be interred in the Hershey Cemetery.  A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice in his honor.
