John P. Jaycox

John P. Jaycox, 62, of Natrona, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, in UPMC Shadyside, as a result of injuries from an auto accident in July 2014. He was born July 19, 1952, in Carbondale, and had lived the past 40 years in the Alle-Kiski Valley.

John worked in the maintenance department of Greek Restaurant in Fox Chapel and previously was the maintenance supervisor of Allegheny Valley Residence in Tarentum for 15 years. He was of the Protestant faith and a graduate of Milton Hershey School.

John enjoyed pool, card playing, board games, football, baseball and watching movies. John especially enjoyed spending time with his son.

He is survived by his son, John W. Jaycox, of Oakmont; and his companion of 16 years, Pamela Mosser, of Natrona. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Paul Jaycox. Internment was private.
